Tuesday, July 08, 2008 What's Inside - Petition Responses - Cosmic Marvel - Mark's Remarks - Quasar Issue Review - Closing Welcome to another edition of the Bring Back Wendell Vaughn as Quasar Newsletter! Wow, it has been 13 issues already!  I was hoping we would be done with issue 2!  Where is our favorite Super Hero?! As always, be sure to send in a petition or request a free one!  Scanning and e-mailing one is an option as well!  Anybody going to the big cons?  Be sure to put up a petition signature form at the entrance somewhere!

	PETITION RESPONSES I think it has been close to a year since the petition drive was started and we are not even half way there yet!  We need 500 HARD REAL sigs!  Wouldn't it be have been great to throw five hundred signatures in Joe Q's face after his statements about Quasar fans from his My Cup o' Joe!  Go Here to Check them out! (flash required) Remember, you DO NOT have to include your address.  A simple printed name and signature is fine.  Thanks to all those who have already sent their signature in.  It is much appreciated.  Also, for those who have requested a free one via mail be sure to sign and mail!  A free stamped envelope was provided! Any problems!  Request another!

	Cosmic Marvel Thoughts on the two Marvel cosmic titles, Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy? Even though DnA were responsible for writing the death of Quasar in Annihilation: Nova, their work on the ongoing Nova can not be looked down upon.  Their portrayal of Galactus and the Silver Surfer is down right superb!  So are you reading Guardians of the Galaxy?  While the relationship between Adam Warlock and Phyla is enough to make one vomit, the great one-liners by Rocket Racoon and Star-Lord are enough to calm any squeamish stomach - - for now. Remember, Starhawk, Wendell's son is going to be in issue 3.  Let's hope they at least touch upon that.
